What's a good music/audio player for android?

Preferably but not necessarily open source, definitely no ads, can be for pay if less than USD 5-ish.

VLC on Android is making me pull my hair out because it is extremely shit at pausing and resuming, and has no UI for skipping 5-10 seconds. Idk what changed, a few years ago when I last used it it was a great, featureful app with many UI options. Now it's a piece of shit, and that's the kindest word I can find.
